QA Automation Engineer

Opportunity
Your responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases
- Perform UI testing using modern automation tools such as Playwright
- Develop and execute API tests using tools like RestAssured
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers and QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in test automation
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with the team to resolve issues
- Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and execution speed
- Identify performance bottlenecks and work with engineering teams to optimize application performance
- Generate and maintain test reports using Allure or similar reporting tools
What you bring to the table
- Strong experience with Java or another object-oriented programming language (Java is a strong plus)
- Hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar
- Experience in API testing, preferably with RestAssured or equivalent tools
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies
- Basic to intermediate understanding of performance testing concepts (load, stress, scalability testing)
- Experience with test reporting tools, preferably Allure
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling or similar
- Knowledge of test frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, or similar
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes
- Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus)
- Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker)
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across development and operations teams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality delivery.
- Continuous improvement mindset and pro-active approach.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and motivated to drive operational excellence.
