Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Business Consultant who will be responsible for the collection, understanding, and translation of customer business requirements into working INSIS software solutions.

Your responsibilities

  • Work with clients to identify business requirements and translate them into workable INSIS solutions.
  • Gather information regarding current and future business processes and desired functional outcomes.
  • Provide guidance on process optimization related to product functionality.
  • Create clear documentation of business requirements and obtain client sign-off, including process maps and data models when required.
  • Ensure correct interpretation of business requirements into functional specifications and review developed solutions for customer acceptance.
  • Configure the INSIS application to align with client requirements.
  • Actively contribute as part of one or more customer project teams to the functional delivery of project plans.
  • Provide input to project estimates after analyzing development approach and complexity.
  • Participate in internal quality reviews and contribute to the design, execution, and review of system test cases.
  • Collaborate in pre-sales activities, assisting with estimation and scoping of pipeline projects.
  • Provide input into the transition of projects into Support.
  • Support sales cycles, product demonstrations, and training activities when required.

What you bring to the table

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis or consultancy within an insurance software environment.
  • Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and participate in business
  • discussions.
  • Technical awareness with the ability to understand and solve average to complex software problems.
  • Experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, and Java is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to configure INSIS attributes including product screens, database artifacts, and business rules.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to translate business requirements into suitable solutions.
  • Good understanding of project delivery methodologies and governance.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and escalate issues when needed.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage project risks effectively.
  • Willingness to travel and work across multiple geographies.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • IT project experience.
  • Insurance domain knowledge (Life, UL, Pension) is considered a strong advantage.
