Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Mid-Level Cloud Operations Engineer to join our operations team. In this role, you will support the stability, performance, and security of a hybrid IT environment, covering AWS cloud services and on-premises systems, as well as business-critical applications. 

You will work closely with development, architecture, and service teams, take part in operational support and incident response, and gradually increase ownership of automation, reliability, and operational improvements. 
This role is suited for an engineer with solid operational experience who is looking to grow deeper expertise in cloud, automation, and large-scale hybrid environments. 
Your responsibilities
  • Operate and support a hybrid infrastructure consisting of AWS cloud services and on-premises systems.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support for infrastructure and applications, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
  • Participate in a structured on-call rotation to support incident response outside regular business hours whenrequired.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability using established monitoring, alerting, and logging tools.
  • Contribute to incident management, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to deploy andoperateapplications in cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Develop andmaintainautomation scripts and infrastructure-as-code components to improve reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Support performance, capacity, and cost optimization activities under guidance from senior team members.
  • Follow security best practices, supporting vulnerability remediation and access control processes.
  • Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Share knowledge within the team and support junior colleagues when needed.
What you bring to the table
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Hands-on experience operating AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, or similar.
  • Experience supporting production systems in cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments.
  • Good working knowledge of Linux systems and shell scripting.
  • Experience with at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code or configuration management tools (e.g.Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
  • Basic understanding of container technologies (Docker) and orchestration concepts (Kubernetes).
  • Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues in production environments.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness toparticipatein on-call and shift-based operations.
 

Nice to Have 

  • AWS certifications (e.g.AWS CertifiedSysOpsAdministrator or similar).
  • Experience with enterprise application or middleware support.
  • Exposure to ITIL-based service management processes.
