Opportunity
The Governance Lead is a core role within the newly established PMO function, directly supporting the Director, PMO in shaping and sustaining the operational backbone of the Professional Services (PS) organization. This role is responsible for defining, maintaining, and embedding delivery governance standards, project lifecycle frameworks, and performance monitoring practices across all implementation projects.

Acting as the primary owner of delivery standards and reporting, the Governance Lead will work closely with Delivery leadership, Project Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure clarity, consistency, and control in how projects are executed and evaluated. The role is central to driving a culture of accountability, quality, and transparency across the delivery function.

Your responsibilities
Delivery Governance & Standards
  • Define and evolve standardized project lifecycle frameworks and governance models across Professional Services.
  • Develop and maintain project templates, tools, and best practices, including Health Checklists, RAID logs, QA checklists, and delivery handbooks.
  • Ensure standards are fit-for-purpose, usable, and aligned with both customer and business expectations.
  • Actively support adoption of governance practices across roles and regions.
Performance Reporting & Dashboards
  • Define and implement KPIs and performance metrics for project delivery, team effectiveness, and overall portfolio health.
  • Lead development of dashboards and reports for use by PS leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Analyze delivery data and surface insights to inform decision-making, surface risks, and guide corrective action.
  • Coordinate project audits and periodic reviews to ensure compliance with governance standards.
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
  • Design and operationalize quality assurance frameworks to improve delivery consistency and reduce execution risk.
  • Support Project Managers and Delivery Leads with tools and guidance to improve project quality.
  • Identify systemic issues or gaps in execution and work with the PMO Director to implement corrective improvements.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of governance practices and iterate them as needed.
Change Enablement & Communication
  • Act as a go-to person for governance questions, documentation, and clarification across PS.
  • Support rollouts of new processes, updates to methodologies, and adoption of tools.
  • Facilitate training sessions or onboarding modules related to governance and delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with the Training team to ensure governance is embedded into internal enablement programs.

What you bring to the table
  • Strong experience in project governance, delivery standards, or PMO roles within a SaaS, consulting, or professional services environment.
  • Solid understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and their application in real-world scenarios.
  • Familiarity with performance measurement and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Smartsheet, Excel, JIRA, or similar).
  • Experience designing or managing delivery frameworks, QA checklists, or audit processes.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, provide structure, and drive process adoption across teams.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a matrixed organization.

  • Timely and actionable reporting to support operational and strategic decisions.

  • Positive feedback from delivery teams on usability and clarity of PMO standards.
